Barry Green has been performing on the UK and International jazz scene for 20 years, performing at major jazz clubs and festivals in Germany, France, Sweden, Spain, Norway, Croatia, Slovina, Austria, aswell as the UK. Performing and recording with, amongst many others, Dick Oatts, Perico Sambeat, Bill McHenry, Gerald Cleaver, Charles McPherson, Chris Cheek, Ben Street, Ian Shaw, Elaine Delmar and Carla Cook.
Barry leads this sextet featuring Miguel Gorodi (trumpet), Sam Braysher (alto), Tom Barford (tenor), Flo Moore (bass) and Will Glaser (drums). The band plays material composed and arranged by Barry that covers an eclectic range of styles and influences including Andrew Hill, Hank Jones and Sam Cooke.
The band recored two gigs in early 2017 to be released as a live album later in the year. Follow this space for updates.
